Linda
This goes out to one of the
strongest women I have ever met.
Although I have only physically
met her twice in the last twenty two years our many phone conversations have
let me see how special she is.
She has shown me strength and
love and from the first time I talked to her on the phone she made me feel
welcome in her family and life.
She is has just enough crazy in
her heart to take on all of life’s heartaches and she has enough energy to
fight off anything the world throws at her.
She believes in God and doing the
right thing no matter what others think.
She loves with all her heart and
never backs down from a fight regardless of how big it may be.
She loves her children with all
her heart and lets them know it even when they give her a headache.
She has conquered battles that
would take many women to their knees and continues to put a smile on her face.
She has laughed with me and cried
with me over the years, never judging me for my feelings or faults.
She has supported her son and I ,
even when we made no sense at all.
She has believed in my family and
cherished my children through all the years, even though we can’t be together.
She has encouraged me and stood
by me through all the good times and bad, never letting me down.
Now as she fights another battle
life has thrown at her she stands strong and believes unlike anyone I have ever
known. She never complains and constantly reassures her children that it’s all
going to be o.k.
When I hear her voice on the
phone I can feel the pain she is going through but she refuses to worry anyone
with her troubles and instead she worries about others.
She is on my mind and in my heart
and I wish that I could be there to hold her and comfort her as she has done
for so many people in her life.
I want to tell her that all the
goodness in her children’s hearts comes from her and there is no doubt in my
heart that without her love her children would not have stood a chance in this
world.
She is a blessing to this world
and her family and will conquer another battle like so many before.
My mother-in-law is a beautiful,
strong, inspiring woman who I look up to.
Please say a prayer for her and
help her in her fight with cancer. I know God is listening and will carry her
through this.
Linda we all love you and miss
you. You are always in our thoughts and prayers no matter how far away you are.
